The Department of Aboriginal Affairs (formerly Indigenous Affairs) has been renamed to more accurately reflect the identity of Aboriginal people in Western Australia. This change is in line with requests from the State's Aboriginal community.
Entry permits are required for entry onto or through those Aboriginal Lands Trust reserves that are subject to Part III of the Aboriginal Affairs Planning Authority Act 1972. For a map indicating which reserves come under Part III click (here)
